Chapter 32

Just as death and the spread of disease work within a body, so too do the mujahideen uproot the corrupt power that stands in the way of the Truth, preventing the Da'wah and the callers to Islam from conveying the religion of Allah to the people as Allah revealed it and as His Messenger (ﷺ) invited people to it. ¶

Therefore, if among the disbelievers there are those who desire to deal with the Muslims on the basis of peace, the exchange of interests, mutual respect, granting the freedom of Da'wah to Allah among their individuals and within their societies, and maintaining a position of neutrality in the event of Muslims fighting a powerful enemy, then the Shariah evidences dictate the necessity of peaceful coexistence with them. As long as the freedom to call to Islam is guaranteed, there is no need for war or combat, for Islam does not wish to compel people to be with it, but it does not allow them to stand against it or fight it using any of the various means of warfare. Islam does not consider everyone who is not with it an enemy that must be fought and eradicated, as is the methodology of secular principles and Jahili (pre-Islamic/man-made) laws. Rather, it considers those who adopt a position of neutrality towards Islam to be ignorant of the reality of Islam and its great merits. It hopes that these neutral parties will incline towards Islam once the misconceptions and perceptions that prevent them from entering it are removed, as has indeed happened in the region of Nubia and other Muslim lands. ¶

Allah the Almighty said: {Except those who reach a people between whom and you there is a treaty, or who come to you, their hearts constrained from fighting you or fighting their own people. If Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a way against them.} This verse is among the 'muhkam' (clear/decisive) verses that have not been subject to abrogation (naskh), and it means that Allah has made it obligatory to maintain peace with those who adopt a position of... ¶

It is incumbent upon Muslims to adopt a position of neutrality; they should not wage war against [neutrals], nor support a combatant against them. Allah the Almighty says: 'Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly' (Surah Al-Mumtahanah: 8). This verse, and the one preceding it, is an explicit and clear text establishing the principle of peaceful coexistence with neutral non-Muslims. This is in accordance with the spirit of the Islamic Da'wah, which spread peacefully in Indonesia, Sudan, Somalia, Central Africa, and Southeast Asia in general. Islam considers war a necessity only to remove aggression that prevents the message of Islam from reaching the people. If this obstacle is removed and non-Muslims commit to peace with the Muslims, and relations between them proceed naturally without being disturbed, it becomes mandatory to consider them neutrals, to refrain from harming them, and to treat them with kindness. ¶

Practical examples of the existence of neutrals in Islam include: ¶

1. The case of the people of Abyssinia: Muslims considered it a country against which it is not permissible to initiate combat. It is narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: 'Leave the Abyssinians alone as long as they leave you alone, for none shall extract the treasure of the Ka'bah except the Dhu al-Suwayqatayn (the one with the two thin shanks) from Abyssinia' (Al-Albani classified this hadith as weak). Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked about the authenticity of this hadith and did not acknowledge its validity, but he remarked: 'People have always refrained from invading them.' ¶

It is also narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that he said: 'Leave the Abyssinians alone as long as they leave you alone, and leave the Turks alone as long as they leave you alone.' Al-Albani deemed it acceptable to use this as supporting evidence. ¶

And it is not like a dar al-harb (domain of war) that declares open hostility to Islam and Muslims; thus, it can be termed a dar al-musalama (domain of peace), dar al-muwada'a (domain of treaty), and dar al-hiyad (domain of neutrality). ¶

Some small European countries, such as Austria and Switzerland, which outwardly maintain a neutral stance regarding the affairs of Islam, can be considered neutral states as long as it is not proven otherwise through warfare against Islam and Muslims, or cooperation with those who war against Islam and its people. Ibn Sa'd narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) made a treaty of peace with the Banu Sakhr of Kinanah, stipulating that he would not fight them, they would not fight him, they would not increase the numbers against him, and they would not aid an enemy against him; he wrote a document between himself and them to that effect (1). ¶

It is permissible to utilize peaceful non-Muslims for propaganda in favor of Muslims and to instill fear and moral defeat in belligerent disbelievers. Ma'bad ibn Abi Ma'bad al-Khuza'i passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was at Hamra al-Asad (2) after the Battle of Uhud, and Ma'bad was a polytheist at the time. He said, 'O Muhammad, the harm that has befallen you has grieved us, and we wish that Allah had granted you safety.' He then left while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was still at Hamra al-Asad, until he met Abu Sufyan ibn Harb and those with him at al-Rawha (3). ¶

They had agreed to return to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his companions, saying, 'We have struck most of his companions, their nobles, and their leaders, yet we are returning before exterminating them! Let us return upon the remainder and finish them off.' ¶

When Abu Sufyan saw Ma'bad, he asked, 'What is the news behind you, O Ma'bad?' He replied, 'Muhammad has set out with his companions in search of you with an army the likes of which I have never seen! They are burning with rage (4) against you, a rage the likes of which I have never seen!' Abu Sufyan said, 'Woe to you, what are you saying?' He replied, 'By Allah, no...' ¶

I suggest that you depart until we see the foreheads of the horses [the approaching enemy]. He said: 'By God, we have decided to launch a counter-attack against them to root them out.' He said: 'I forbid you from doing that.' ¶

Based on this, peaceful and neutral disbelievers are not to be treated as enemies, nor is it proper to hold them as allies. Rather, they are to be treated with justice, benevolence, and kindness. They are not to be treated with the hostility shown to combatants, nor with the alliance shown to believers. It is only permissible to deal with them on the basis of justice, maintaining relations through righteousness, and refraining from causing them harm or aggression, as long as they reciprocate this sentiment toward the Muslims and adopt a tolerant stance that signifies an acceptance of the invitation to Islam through wisdom, good counsel, and arguing in the best manner. This is the goal that Islam seeks in its call and jihad. If these conditions are found in a people, it is mandatory to refrain from attacking them and to respect their rights, provided they respect the Muslims and maintain a sincere and genuine stance of neutrality toward Islam and its followers, free from deceit or fraud. ¶

If a conflict occurs between disbelievers, it is permissible for Muslims to support one side against the other morally, as happened during the war between Persia and Byzantium (Rome). When the Persians initially defeated the Byzantines, the disbelievers of Mecca rejoiced and said to the Muslims, 'Our brothers the Persians have defeated your brothers among the People of the Book,' as the Quraysh disbelievers aligned with the Persians because they were all 'Ummi' (unlettered/polytheists). The Muslims, however, stood with the Byzantines in their sentiments because they were People of the Book. Eventually, the battle turned, and the Byzantines defeated the Persians, which pleased the Muslims. Regarding this, the Almighty revealed: 'Alif-Lam-Mim. The Byzantines have been defeated. In the nearest land, but they, after their defeat, will overcome. Within a few years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice in the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.' ¶

Fifth Section: The Dealings of Muslims with Belligerent Disbelievers (Kuffar al-Muharibun). Experience and history have proven that disbelief is a single creed, and the enemies of Islam are an indivisible entity. Throughout the ages and the repetition of centuries, they have maintained a unified hostile stance against us. Although they may differ among themselves in their methodologies and starting points in life, they are united in their enmity towards Islam and their war against it, despite their differences, despite the Muslims' keenness for peace and reconciliation with them, and despite the fact that most of their interests lie with the Muslims. These belligerents can be divided into three categories: 1. Belligerents among the idolaters. 2. Belligerents among the Jews. 3. Belligerents among the Christians. Each of these groups holds a hostile stance that is no less than the others; however, the stance of a Muslim in his enmity towards one who denies the existence of Allah entirely is more severe than his stance towards those who acknowledge Him. ¶

The Jews and the Christians believe in the existence of Allah, even if they do not implement His Shariah or adhere to His methodology. The enmity of a Muslim towards the belligerent Jews is more intense than his enmity towards the belligerent Christians, in accordance with the saying of the Almighty: 'You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah.' Thus, the Christians occupy the third rank after the Jews, provided that they are all at war with Islam and the Muslims, which is generally the case. Allah the Almighty has forbidden taking the belligerents against Islam and the Muslims as allies, regardless of their type. The Almighty says: 1. 'You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger.' 2. And the Almighty says: 'O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth.' 3. The Almighty says: 'O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.' 4. The Almighty says: 'O you who have believed, take not those who have taken your religion in ridicule and amusement among those who were given the Scripture before you nor the disbelievers as allies. And fear Allah, if you should [truly] be believers.' And the waging of war against Islam by these parties may come from any one of them. ¶

Collaboration may occur from these three groups, such as the cooperation of Christians with Jews in Palestine, idolaters with Christians in India and Southeast Asia, and Communists with Jews in Russia. It may also come from all of them collectively, based on the deceit and conspiracies they plot against Islam and the Muslims. ¶

Let us begin with a brief overview clarifying how these groups, or the majority of those affiliated with them, wage war against Islam and the Muslims. ¶

Combatants from among the Idolaters: ¶

Communists are idolaters, even if they claim to possess science and knowledge, for they sanctify matter and view it as the agent of everything. Thus, they attribute the characteristics of divinity to it, taking it as a god besides Allah. Their motto is, 'There is no god; life is matter'(1). Regardless, Communism is a Jewish invention; its initiation and promotion were established by the German Jew, Marx. He was succeeded in this by several members of the Communist Council that ruled Russia in 1951, where seventeen members were openly Jewish, and Stalin, the prominent leader of Communism, was married to a Jewish woman(2). In a secret meeting of Jews in Palestine attended by Rabbi Joachim Prinz, he said: 'Gentlemen, you all know the extent of the connection existing between us and our Jewish brethren in Russia, and the generous hand they have had in assisting us, especially their stance regarding us during the Palestine war. This stance tipped the scales in our favor and enabled us to expel the Arab invaders from our holy homeland. Had it not been for the weapons they supplied us with, which their aircraft transported at the appropriate time, Israel would never have been established at all. And the weapons with which we are defending ourselves today...' ¶

Regarding our borders in Israel, this is also among what our Jewish brethren in Russia have sent us, and it is what prompted thousands of their Jews to join the Israeli forces to assist us in the War of Independence(1). It continues to assist us to this day, in return for what we have provided them in their revolution, the organization of their affairs, and the stabilization of the foundations of communism within them(2). ¶

Al-Madina Al-Munawwara newspaper published on 25 Rajab 1399 AH, Issue (4622), the following: ¶

Telephonic - By Abdel Bari Atwan: London - Pamphlets were distributed in London yesterday, Tuesday, issued by an Anglo-American organization opposing communism and Zionism, containing staggering facts supported by numbers and names, which state: ¶

«The Supreme Soviet and its Politburo are 90% composed of Soviet Jews, and the most prominent Soviet leaders belong to Zionism, to the extent that Leonid Brezhnev, the only one among the top Soviet figures who is not of Jewish origin, is married to a Jewish woman. All his children were raised in the Jewish way, are fluent in the Hebrew language, and have received a portion of Zionist culture»(3). ¶

Accordingly, communists and their agents everywhere act in accordance with this... ¶

The scheme of the 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion' (1) is such that wherever Communism enters a country, its primary operation is the total crushing of Muslims. This deep-seated hatred is merely a part of the Jewish hatred against Islam and Muslims. In Russia, the Communists killed no fewer than twenty-six million Muslims within a quarter of a century (2) and closed more than twenty-four thousand mosques (3). ¶

Today, Communism continues in its invasion of Afghanistan what it did in the past; it has killed nearly one million (4) and displaced two and a half million refugees into Pakistan (5). ¶

Its forces are still reaping the lives of Muslims and will move on to others if they are able to do so. Communist Russia is not the only Communist state warring against Islam in Afghanistan and elsewhere; rather, all Communist states are involved with it. Afghan Mujahideen have captured Cuban, Hungarian, Bulgarian, and other soldiers. We have previously pointed out what the Communist Tito did in Yugoslavia, where he killed nearly one million Muslims (6). ¶

Yet, before his death, he was welcomed in some Islamic countries as the dearest friend of the Muslims. ¶

The danger of communism and the communists has transcended that point, penetrating deep into Islamic countries, where communist parties have emerged in most of them—some overt and others covert. The objective of these parties, according to the Judeo-Crusader plan, is to eradicate Islam and turn Muslims into a distorted nation with no value in life. Some communists have reached positions of power in certain Islamic countries and began performing their treacherous role in the war against Islam and Muslims, while others work from behind the scenes, preparing to leap into the seats of government. All these taghuti (tyrannical) and kafir (disbelieving) parties maintain complete loyalty to the Jews and a deep connection with them, representing the bond of a branch to its root. In 1948, an Iraqi communist newspaper stated: 'The Iraqi people refuse to fight the brotherly Israeli people.' ¶

Furthermore, Khalid Bakdash, the communist agent for Russia, sent Farajallah al-Hilu, a communist in Syria, to Tel Aviv to coordinate with the Jews and bring in the Jew 'Tachman Levinsky' to serve as an advisor to the Communist Party in Syria. In the late 1960s, the Egyptian communist Lutfi al-Khuli published in Al-Ahram newspaper: 'The Egyptians harbor nothing but love and appreciation for Jewish workers and farmers,' as if these [Jews] had not shed the blood of Palestinians nor occupied their land. ¶

The situation reached the point where Arab communists, particularly the Palestinians among them, met under the Israeli flag in international conferences and global seminars, side-by-side with members of Jewish gangs in friendly sessions over drinks. They decided to work within the ranks of the Jewish 'Rakah' party, which is camouflaged by communism. These people revolve in the hands of the Jewish octopus, and in their naivety, they fail to realize that there is no difference between an eastern master or a western master, or an eastern tyrant or a western tyrant. ¶

Whether it is a covert capitalist occupier, an overt capitalist occupier, a capitalist Cohen, or a socialist Cohen, as long as everyone is working to serve the Zionist entity, and as long as they are fighting against Islam and the Muslims, then disbelief (kufr) is a single nation (millah)—whether from the East, the West, or in between. But where are those who hear, see, and then comprehend(1)? Allah the Almighty says: "Indeed, those who disbelieve—it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe. Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment"(2). At Birzeit University, the elected head of the student council—a Palestinian Arab communist—was asked about the secret of their alliance with the Jewish and Christian blocs against the Islamic bloc, and he replied: "We are prepared to unite with the Devil against the Islamic trend"(3). ¶

These are examples of communism that fights Islam both abroad and at home. Some deceived, naive people might say that communism as an economic theory has no relation to religions, so why do you hold such hostility toward it when it is in this form? ¶

The response to this is found by tracking communism in both theory and reality. In the theoretical field, the German Jew Karl Marx says: "Religion is the opium of the people." This is his slogan and the slogan of his parrots and followers. Marx also says: "Every communist must get rid of the clergy by any means and in any form"(4). End quote. ¶

Advocates of socialism are advocates of communism, but they want to deceive the Islamic nations by using a term that sounds less harsh to the ears than communism, in order to lure the weak, the naive, the workers, and the toilers. ¶

Allah Almighty says: 'And it was incumbent upon Us to aid the believers.' (Surah Ar-Rum: 47). He also says: 'Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand.' (Surah Ghafir: 51). ¶

Therefore, we should not fear our enemies as much as we should fear our own selves. If our intentions, words, and deeds were correct, the victory promised to us by Allah in His Noble Book, as indicated in the aforementioned verses, would descend upon us. However, victory has not been achieved because the souls of Muslims are living in isolation from the path of Allah and the application of His Shariah. Thus, it is natural that what has afflicted the Muslims should befall them, for this is the Sunnah (practice) of Allah. Allah the Almighty says: 'And when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them, [Allah] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allah] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."' (Surah Al-Baqarah: 124). ¶

The idolaters in India are waging a campaign against the Muslims, who number approximately eighty million. We have previously noted that during the partition of Pakistan from India, the cow-worshippers killed at least five million Muslims during their migration from India to Pakistan. They continue to fight against the Muslims to this day. On the day of Eid al-Adha, 10/12/1400 AH, the Hindus and Hindu organizations released groups of swine among the Muslims at the Eid prayer ground; the goal of this was to harass the Muslims. Units of the army, which is composed mostly of Hindus, were nearby, and moments after the conflict began between the Muslims and their enemies, these bigots opened fire on the Muslims, killing hundreds and arresting thousands. Despite this, nations did not take action. ¶

Neither do those who claim Islam, nor do the Muslim nations express any form of condemnation; rather, relations are strengthening day by day with those pagans who war against Allah, His Messenger, and the believers. There is no power or strength except with Allah. ¶

Jewish Combatants ¶

The hostility of the Jews and their war against Islam is a matter that requires no proof, unless the sun itself requires proof to be established. Some naive and foolish people differentiate between Jews and Zionists, claiming that the Jews are peaceful and good, while the Zionists are the warring enemies. We say that this is part of the Jews' deception and misguidance; for the Jews are Zionists and the Zionists are Jews. Allah the Almighty has given us confirmation of the Jews' enmity toward the Muslims in His saying: 'You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah' (Surah Al-Ma'idah: 82). ¶

The Quranic expression denotes continuity and the future. Although directed at the Messenger (PBUH), the entire Ummah is included in this, which is the methodology of the Holy Quran in this verse and others like it. Today, all Jews declare war on Islam and the Muslims, whether they are the Jews who have seized Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Blessed Land, or the Jews who occupy seats in the American Congress, or the Jews in the Supreme Soviet Council, or the Jews in Britain, France, and all of Europe. All of these are our enemies, and they view us merely as animals created to serve them. One of their leaders said at a Masonic ceremony in 1964: 'As a result of your fruitful efforts, the day will come when you will shatter the Islamic and Christian religions, and Muslims and Christians will be rid of their rotten beliefs.' ¶

Islamic countries rush to purchase weapons as a result of their feelings of weakness and fear after the isolation of Egypt. These weapons are bought from industrially advanced nations that possess large stockpiles of weaponry which they wish to dispose of, given the existence of more lethal and efficient alternatives. However, they insist on selling them at exorbitant prices, believing they can neutralize their effectiveness should they be used against their own interests or those of their agents. ¶

3 - The peace treaty paved the way for Jews to enter Egypt, which is the center of intellectual and military influence over other countries in the region. There exist significant possibilities for cooperation with Jews there, due to the presence of a large Christian population and a small number of Jews who enjoy considerable influence in leadership and decision-making centers. The extreme poverty of the general Muslim population makes it easy for the Jews to trap them through various means. Thus, the Jews, in conspiracy with the Christians, will be able to strike at the Muslims in Egypt, isolate them from the centers of power, and crush them completely; consequently, the rest of the Islamic nations will surrender to Jewish plans and demands. ¶

4 - The peace treaty provides an opportunity to build the Jewish state internally, granting it a state of security and stability to encourage Jews from within and abroad to build economic institutions and immigrate there in greater numbers than before. ¶

5 - The peace treaty is an opportunity to sow discord among Arab states, which, in reality, revolve within the orbit of Jewish schemes, whether they are aware of it or not. The countries that have dubbed themselves the 'Front of Steadfastness and Confrontation' are operating within the orbit of the Communist bloc, which is itself subject to Jewish control, both intellectually and practically. Meanwhile, the countries that have opted for silence or have shown signs of satisfaction and support—whether covert or overt—for reconciliation with the Jews are also operating within the orbit of Western nations, which are directed by Jews in London or Washington. Thus, the manufactured conflict... ¶

The division among Arab leadership serves the Jews, whether the loyalty is to Eastern Jews or Western Jews; the result is one and the same. ¶

6. The peace treaty between the Jews and Egypt contains the eradication of Islam within Egypt through the conditions imposed by Israel in the spheres of thought, belief, art, and the like. When the Jews concede Sinai to Egypt in exchange for the eradication of Islam within Egypt, it is a greater gain for them than retaining Sinai, especially at a time when the number of Muslims working sincerely for Islam inside Egypt is increasing, which poses a grave threat to the erasure of Israel from existence entirely. Through this peace, Israel paves the way to extend its borders beyond the Nile River once the land of Egypt is emptied of Islam and Muslims. The ruling of Islam regarding belligerent enemies who occupy Muslim lands, fight Muslims for the sake of their religion, expel them from their homes, or assist in their expulsion, is that fighting and jihad against them is an individual obligation (fard ayn) upon every Muslim, provided there is not a sufficient number to fight them and drive them out from the Abode of Islam (Dar al-Islam)(1). ¶

Therefore, in these Islamic lands occupied by the infidels from among the Jews or those resembling them, every Muslim who is sincere in his Islam must fight them and expel them from the Abode of Islam by force. ¶

Since jihad against the aggressor and resisting his aggression in defense of religion and defense of the self are two sides of the same right, it is impossible to accept abandoning them or conceding them under any circumstances(2). ¶

Furthermore, jihad against the infidels or apostates within the Islamic state—who are not of those with a covenant (ahl al-'ahd) or those under protection (dhimmi)—is more prioritized and binding than jihad against the infidels outside the Abode of Islam. Based on this, the verses [regarding...] ¶

The term 'Jihad' applies to fighting the warring disbelievers (al-kuffar al-muharibin) within the territory before it applies to those outside. Allah the Almighty says: '...kill the polytheists wherever you find them' (At-Tawbah: 5). ¶

And He says: '...and fight the polytheists collectively as they fight you collectively, and know that Allah is with the righteous' (At-Tawbah: 36). If fighting warring disbelievers outside the Islamic state is mandated, then fighting those warring disbelievers inside the Islamic state is even more pressing, whether they are original disbelievers (like Jews and Christians) or those who become such due to apostasy and loyalty to these groups—such as those who take communists, Jews, or Christians as allies (awliya). These are disbelievers, and whoever pledges complete allegiance to the disbelievers, the ruling upon him is disbelief (kufr), regardless of whether those disbelievers are outside or inside the lands of the Muslims. Allah the Almighty says: 'Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion—[forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers' (Al-Mumtahanah: 9). ¶

Ibn Sa'di states in his Tafsir that this 'wrongdoing' (dhulm) is measured by the extent of the allegiance. If it is a total, absolute allegiance, then it is disbelief (kufr) that expels one from Islam. If it is less than that, it may be considered a major sin (kabirah) or less, depending on the degree of allegiance shown to these disbelievers. ¶

Based on this, those who take Jews, Christians, communists, pagans, Baathists, or similar disbelievers as allies, and support them by word or deed—or both—are not among the people of Islam, even if they claim to be, especially if their allegiance is complete or absolute. Moreover, showing allegiance to the disbelievers who are at war with Allah and His Messenger within Islamic lands is an even greater [offense]. ¶

The greatest crime and the most severe harm to Islam and the Muslims is to ally oneself with them [the disbelievers] outside of Islamic lands, even though both actions [allying within or outside] are grounds for exiting the fold of Islam. ¶

It has never happened that Muslims made peace with their enemies while in a position of defeat and their enemies were in a position of victory, and then the enemies respected the terms of the peace and did not violate them(1). This is because the enemies have no sound principle that prevents them from treachery and betrayal except for the power of the Muslims and the fear of their might. Therefore, those who are striving to reconcile with the Jews these days are ignorant of the reality of the Jews, ignorant of the Quran's description of them, and ignorant of the events of history: They said peace is our path, alas! Will the usurped right ever return through peace(2)? Nothing supports a wasted right like the logic delivered by the sharp edge of a weapon(3). ¶

Al-Khansa was more loyal to her brother than many rulers of Islamic lands are to their Ummah, as she said: I will never make peace with a people I was at war with, until the darkness of shame turns back into brightness(4). ¶

Combatant Christians The enmity of the Christians toward the people of Islam is no less malicious or cunning than the enmity and cunning of the Jews. Rather, the Christians have conspired with the Jews, as the Crusaders joined hands with the Jews in fighting the people of Islam. To that end, the Jews have gained control over the reins of leadership in most Christian nations, where the Jews represent only a small minority. This affection and cooperation was not a passing coincidence, but rather these enemies realized... ¶
